TO KNOW? OR TO THINK YOU KNOW?

The first question in the world...

From Prophet Eve to Prophet Adam,

After being sent to the world, after 40 years of repenting for his mistakes and 40 years of praying for reunion,

The question he asked when they met on Mount Arafat...

“Did you know me?”

To know, to meet, to introduce. What does it all mean?

How does one know another? Knowing his family relationships, the schools he attended, the jobs he did... Would that be enough?

Or let's think about the questions a generation asks when meeting: Which type of music do you like, which books do you read, what is your zodiac sign, etc.

While the previous generation was more shy about asking questions and having more secret meetings... Today, we are in a period where we enter into relationships without even meeting.

Time is so fast that we cannot give anything the value it deserves. Neither belongings nor money have any value anymore, nor love nor relationships nor acquaintances...

You know, in the old Turkish movies, they would come to Istanbul and find their uncles to guide and support them as they started their new lives... It is very valuable to make acquaintances because a person feels better and more comfortable around the people he knows.

So how do I get to know the people around me?

Enough to know all my needs?

Enough to get what I want from them?

Enough to have a good time?

Or how well do I know myself?

How can I get to know you better?

Sometimes, in order to get to know a person, I don't need to get close to him, I need to stay away from him for a while... How does he treat me when I'm away, how does he think of  me, how do we meet when I return?

In this process, we realize: "I misunderstood him so much!"

Maybe we think we only know the people around us?

Maybe our previous assumptions about him were wrong?

Just like the world is just getting to know Muslims...

In the past, they used to call them a terrorist and consider them dirty. They would also misunderstand Islam by looking at people who lived Islam incorrectly, did not question it, and went astray.

But the value of Islam was revealed when the whole world had to watch them from afar.

What does faith mean?

What does cleanliness mean?

What does upright posture mean?

What does kindness mean?

What does submission mean?

What does sincerity mean?

What does it mean to believe in a cause...

They showed it all to us again.

I saw a Muslim saying goodbye to his captives while leaving them. And the faces of the captives were smiling when he left...

Here, I met a kind man.

He does not cry when he is hungry, he reveals everything he has, he is grateful for the food he cooks by the fire and shares it. He smiles while sharing.

Here I met a generous man.

He has the right to complain, but he says ALLAH is great, He is enough for us, what a great deputy He is.

Here I met a beautiful, contented person with faith.

Despite the difficult conditions, she still covers her head with pleasure.

Here I met a clean person...

Even though he lost his legs, he said, “I am very happy that God has bestowed upon us. “They went to heaven before me.” I saw a man.

I met a surrendered person...

Maybe we "think" we only know the people in our lives?

Maybe the truth is different?

Maybe people have some common characteristics among all their differences?

Actually the truth might be very simple..?

In that case,

Who is Who?
