CHOICES IN THOUGHTS

At the beginning of the lesson, "Teacher... When we talk to you, we start asking questions that we have never asked or even thought of, and we enjoy it very much." Teacher Ali’s eyes shined.

It was that moment when a teacher, especially a philosophy teacher, wanted to hear, "What else?" 

“That’s wonderful... That's the purpose of this course... "To make you intend to think" 

- But my teacher; this does not work. Again, you immediately linked the matter to religion. "We intend to think for the sake of GOD," said one of the mischievous students 😊 

"My son, everything we do depends on GOD; it's not just a lesson," said Teacher Ali with a smile. 

- Let's stop the chatter and start the lesson. So, what promise or problem are we going to pursue today?  Shall we write it on the board? 

Does one want to be a shepherd or a sheep, according to you? 

-Of course, I would like to be a shepherd, sir. 

-Why? 

-Sir, did I come to this world like a sheep to do what someone else says? No, of course, not...  I want to make my own life decisions. That's why I want to be a shepherd...

-Well then, let's start here... What do you think it means to be a shepherd, what do you think it means to be a sheep?

-Sir, is being a shepherd like being a rooster in your own litter? Everyone crows in their own garbage." For example, this class is my dump; Whatever I say will be done. Right, friends!

-Is that so? So, who is the rooster here right now? You or me?

While the laughter continued, teacher Ali said;

-Children; If people choose where to be a shepherd, where to be a rooster and where to be a sheep, they have already made the decisions of their lives. In other words, they become human beings.

-How so, sir? Will I be both a shepherd and a sheep? I'm confused...

-Son, is it your mind which gets confused there, or your ego?

-For example, I may be a shepherd to you in class, but when I enter my home, I can immediately be my wife's sheep; "Darling... I'm hungry like a wolf, what have you prepared for us today, with your beautiful hands?"

Because the kitchen is her place... She has both the responsibility and the authority... We can gladly be her sheep with the children...

But after dinner, I can be the shepherd to my son, who plays a lot of games on the computer while his mother complains. When I say, "That computer is going to go away, and that's my last word," I can be the rooster of that dump.

"But Dad... It's my only pastime... And everyone is playing... What the hell is wrong with you? Then I won't study or do anything you say." If my son speaks like that, I have the right to talk to him with the utmost authority…

"I'm sorry, son... When you have your own house, your own earnings, you can do whatever you want, but right now I have the authority... That's why my horn blows here. Because I'm the one who provides and I'm the rooster of this dump."

Anyway, let's get to you... Now you can be my sheep here in the classroom, but to be a good shepherd in the future. How?

Here you learn to be a sheep, that is, to be a flock, so that when the time comes, you can be a good father, a good mother, a good boss, a good leader...

Because what you learn here determines your situation there. The more bread, the more meatballs. Agreed? 😊

Here, you learn how to be a herd, and then you discover how to take responsibility for your own herd and manage it.

They don't just make you a shepherd. Especially in the class I'm in, they won't make you at all a shepherd. 😊

Being a community in good deeds brings great benefit.
